Mary-Ann Lacey is inspired by artists Anita O'Day, Blossom Dearie, Peggy Lee, Betty Carter, Patsy Cline, Abbey Lincoln, Chet Baker, Fred Hersch, Bill Charlap, Charlie Parker, Sheila Jordan, and Roy Haynes to name a few. A Montréal, musician and vocalist, Lacey has performed internationally from Argentina to Japan. She is also known as a choreographer and has performed her witty and cinematic dance pieces on stages across the globe.
